The Chetak Urbane TecPac is an excellent choice for the sensible rider who wants top-end software features and enhanced performance without paying for the slightly larger battery and premium aesthetics of the Chetak 35 Series.

This variant represents the best value for tech enthusiasts. You get the reliable Bajaj engineering and the full suite of smart, connected features, all bundled up at a very competitive price point.

The Reverse Mode is an underrated feature. It makes backing out of tight, inclined spots so easy. Essential for riders who struggle with the Chetak's 131 kg kerb weight.

The Chetak's retro design is its strength, but the Urbane's colour palette (Matte Coarse Grey, etc.) feels muted compared to the vibrant colours of its rivals. Needs more exciting colour options.

The 4 hours 30 minutes charging time (with TecPac's faster rate) is reasonable for a long-range battery. I plug it in overnight, and it's always ready to go in the morning.

The 18.5L under-seat storage is the biggest practical flaw. It's simply too small to fit a decent full-face helmet or a full shopping bag, severely limiting its family utility.

The Steel Body construction is fantastic. The durability and solid feel are unmatched by any lightweight plastic scooter. It feels like a substantial, long-lasting investment.

The colour LCD display is clear and shows all the ride data, but it’s not as slick or responsive as the higher-resolution TFT display on the Premium models. It does the job, though.

The FOB key with keyless access is brilliant. I never have to fumble for a key—just push a button to start. It’s the kind of smooth, modern convenience that makes the Chetak feel premium.

I'm disappointed that this top Urbane trim still uses Drum Brakes on both ends. For a scooter that can hit 73 km/hr, a front disc brake should be mandatory for safety and better stopping power.

The Off-Board 650W Charger is a bit of a hassle to carry, and the 5-hour charging time is slow. However, the initial price of the Urbane variant is low, making it a fair trade-off.

The full app connectivity with Turn-by-Turn Navigation directly on the cluster is incredibly useful. Geo-fencing and anti-theft alerts also give me peace of mind when parked.

The 2.9 kWh battery with 113 km certified range is adequate for my daily 40 km commute. The quick acceleration and smooth power delivery (4.2 kW peak) are the signature Chetak characteristics I love.

I chose the Urbane TecPac for the essential features. The Hill Hold Assist and Reverse Mode are crucial for parking and starting on inclines. These safety features should be standard, but they make the TecPac worth the money.

The TecPac is a must-buy upgrade. For a small extra fee, I unlocked the 73 km/hr top speed and Sport mode. This transforms the scooter from a slow city commuter to a quick, agile ride that keeps up with all traffic.
