The Bajaj Chetak Premium electric scooter comes in 2 variants starting from ₹1.47 lakhs. The company offers the vehicle with standard and TecPac options. The electric scooter features a battery of 3.2 kWh making the total kerb weight of the scooter 134 kg. The Bajaj Chetak Premium electric scooter has a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear. Ensuring safety, the Bajaj Chetak premium electric scooter features a combined braking system. The company offers the ride in 3 different colour options. The Bajaj Chetak Premium electric scooter colours include Hazelnut, Brooklyn Black, and Indigo Metallic.
The company recently announced a limited-time exchange offer on its standard and Premium electric scooters. Also, the company has unveiled its plan to launch another member in its Chetak series very soon. Reportedly, the upcoming Chetak electric scooter will be the most affordable offering by the company.

The Bajaj Chetak Premium standard scooter is powered by a PMS (permanent magnet synchronous) motor that can generate 4.2kw peak power. The electric scooter produces a torque of 22.7Nm, thanks to which the Bajaj Chetak Premium EV top speed reaches up to 73 km/h.
Making the electric scooter suitable for long rides, the Bajaj Chetak Premium provides a range of 126 km. Also, to get fully charged, the electric scooter requires only 4.3 hours, which is quite less than its competitors like Vida V1 Pro and 450X Pro (3.7 kWh).
Bajaj Chetak Premium Standard features:
The Bajaj Chetak Premium standard EV comes with technologies like a 5-inch TFT screen, geo-location to track your vehicle, an off-board charger and a Key Fob. However, the majority of the features in the Bajaj Chetak Premium are not available in the basic model but instead in the TecPac option. With the additional TecPac option, the rider can unlock options like hill-hold, an updated Eco mode, a new Sports mode, full app connectivity, reverse mode and switch from monochrome TFT to colour TFT. The full-app connectivity in the TecPac option provides users with information on Tamper Alerts, OTA updates, and Vehicle health information. However, with the Tecpac option, the Bajaj Chetak Premium effective ex-showroom price will be ₹1,56,243.
Bajaj Chetak Urane Premium Suspension and Brakes
The Bajaj Chetak Premium standard EV has a suspension system that consists of an Offset steering column with leading link suspension at the front and a Gas emulsion type, single shocker at the rear. Offering durability, the vehicle is constructed with a Metal frame. The Braking system of the EV is assisted by the CBS (Combined Braking System). With 12-inch alloy wheels, the scooter's front and rear 90- and 90-section tubeless tyres, respectively, are installed. It provides 160 mm of ground clearance and 770 mm of seat height. The Bajaj Chetak Premium standard EV has a curb weight of 134 kg.
