BGauss D15i

The BGauss D15 electric scooter comes in 2 variants starting at the price of  ₹1,46,191 (ex-showroom). The BGauss D15i Max 2.0 is the base and second model of the company’s D15i series which comes at ₹1,46,191. Powered by a battery of 3.2Kwh, the total weight of the BGauss D15i is 107 kgs. The electric scooter is equipped with drum brakes at the front and rear with a combined braking system (CBS) technology. The BGauss D15i electric scooter colours include Brooklyn Black, Yellow Techno, Foliage Green, Pearl White, and Matte BGauss Blue. 

Earlier this year, To offer an end-to-end solution, an Electric Vehicle (EV) aggregator and an end-to-end enabler, VOICE joined hands with BGauss Electric Vehicles to deploy 5,000 EVs for corporate customers, and B2B fleets for the last mile partners.

The BGauss D15i price is  ₹1,46,191 (ex-showroom). However, including RTO, insurance and other charges the on-road price of the vehicle may vary from state to state.

BGauss D15i Features:

The BGauss D15i Features a Permanent magnet synchronous (PMSM) hub motor with 1.5kw and 3.1 kW nominal and peak motor power respectively, thanks to which the electric scooter can accelerate from 0-40 kmph in just 7 seconds. The BGauss D15i  has a top speed of 60kmph and can travel up to 115km (IDC). The BGauss D15i features advanced technologies like Anti-theft Alert System, USB Charging, Side Stand Sensor, infotainment, Geo Fencing, Onboard Navigation, reverse mode and booking service appointments on the app.

BGauss D15i specifications:

In terms of features, it gets an LED headlight, tail light and indicators, and an all-digital console showing data such as a speedometer, odometer and battery charge status, along with a distance to empty readout, temperature based performance derating and riding efficiency (Wh/km).

It also offers smartphone connectivity and a dedicated app with features like real-time battery charge status, post-ride stats, remote immobilisation and geo-fencing with the last parked location.  

Built on a tubular Chassis with metallic body, the BGauss D15i comes with 16 inch aluminium alloy wheels accompanied by drums at front and rear. 

At the front, the scooter features a Hydraulic Telescopic suspension and at the rear, the vehicle has a double hydraulic spring with “3 step adjustable”. The BGauss D15i electric scooter's other specifications include an LED headlight taillight and indicators, LED headlight, and an all-digital console giving insights to the rider about speed, distance, battery charge, and distance to empty status 

Ensuring ease, the BGauss electric scooter is equipped with a comfortable seat fixed at the height of 765 mm along with a long footboard and high handlebars that are designed to cater for every rider. The vehicle features a 30mm water-wading limit. The kerb weight of the BGauss C12i Max 2.0 is 107kg, with the scooter’s aerodynamics ensuring a lower centre of gravity that provides the scooter greater manoeuvrability.
