The company's Tata Motors sales for October 2025 set a new all-time high for the second consecutive month.

Tata Motors registered total wholesales of 61,295 units, marking an impressive 26.6% year-over-year (YoY) growth compared to the 48,423 units sold in October 2024. The robust figures reflect strong consumer sentiment and a dominant position in the Indian auto industry sales charts.

EVs and SUVs: The Twin Engines of Growth

The two primary drivers for this unprecedented success were the company's Electric Vehicle and SUV segments.

All-Time High Tata EV Sales

The electric vehicle division was a standout performer, achieving its highest-ever EV wholesales of 9,286 units. This represents a staggering 73% surge compared to the same period last year. This growth is powered by strong customer preference for Tata's expanding EV portfolio, which includes popular models like the Nexon EV, Tiago EV, and Punch EV, as well as growing anticipation for the new Tata Harrier.ev.

SUVs Dominate with 77% Share

Tata's SUV sales continue to lead the charge, with over 47,000 units sold in October. This marks the highest-ever 77% share in the company's monthly sales.

• Tata Nexon : The flagship model saw an exceptional 50% YoY volume growth, highlighting the continued soaring popularity of its multi-powertrain (petrol, diesel, and EV) offerings.

• Harrier & Safari : The premium SUV twins, including the new Tata Harrier.ev, achieved a new high, selling 7,000 units, driven by strong market traction and "Adventure X" excitement.

Unprecedented Festive Season Momentum

The record-breaking festive season car sales in 2025 were a key factor in this success. Tata Motors reported robust retail demand, which led to record-breaking monthly registrations.

The company also achieved a landmark festive milestone by delivering over 1 lakh vehicles between Navratri and Diwali, marking a robust 33% YoY growth. This was supported by all-time peak monthly bookings, reflecting strong customer preference across Tata's entire model range.
