The new Paddle Shifters for Multi-Mode Regen in the Smart Plus model are a joy to use. I can control the braking force dynamically on the fly, which maximizes range effortlessly.

The unladen ground clearance of 190 mm is brilliant. It handles rough patches and flooded streets during the monsoon without any anxiety about the underbody getting hit. True SUV characteristics.

Charging from 10-100% takes about 9.4 hours via the standard 15A plug. This means I must rely heavily on my 3.3 kW wall box charger. Fast charging is available but requires planning.

The Air Purifier and Automatic Climate Control (optional/available) are great for combating pollution in metros like Delhi/Mumbai. It makes the cabin a much more comfortable and healthy space.

The lack of alloy wheels and LED projector headlamps still makes it look a bit basic from the outside compared to the Adventure trim. The style upgrade is definitely worth the extra cost.

The Rear Parking Camera (unique to this variant compared to base Smart) is essential for parking in tight city spots. The Day/Night IRVM is also a small but crucial addition for safe night driving.

For ₹11.14 Lakh (ex-showroom), it’s slightly pricier than some rivals, but the 8-year/1,60,000 km battery warranty is unmatched. That guarantee of battery longevity provides immense peace of mind.

The 60 kW motor provides good torque (114 Nm). It's quick off the line, great for darting through city traffic. The 4 levels of regenerative braking are excellent for one-pedal driving in slow-moving traffic.

I love the connected experience now! Wired Android Auto works seamlessly on the 7-inch screen, and the upgraded 6-speaker sound system is decent for my podcasts and music on the commute.

The 6-airbag, 5-star BNCAP safety kit remains the core strength. Knowing my family is safe in a Tata EV that's affordable is the reason I chose the Punch EV. Safety first, always.

My family appreciates the all four power windows, which the base model lacked. It’s a basic necessity in Indian summers, and the inclusion here makes the car much more comfortable for the family.

The addition of the touchscreen and steering-mounted controls vastly improves the driving experience over the base Smart. It finally feels like a modern car and not a stripped-down EV.

The 315 km ARAI range (25 kWh battery) is fantastic. My real-world city range is around 200-220 km, which is highly dependable for a micro-SUV. The low running cost is genuinely transformative.

This is the true 'sweet spot' variant! For a little extra over the base model, you get the essential 7-inch touchscreen with Android Auto/Apple CarPlay and rear power windows. Worth the upgrade for daily usability.
