TATA EV sales Data: Nexon.ev left behind, Tata Harrier.ev is the new EV champion

The Harrier.ev has overtaken the Nexon.ev as Tata Motors’ top-selling electric model, recording 2,458 units of sales against the Nexon.ev’s 2,230, as per the recent data of industry trackers.

The update is in line with the company’s overall trend for late 2025, where Tata’s growing EV volume received a constant and generous contribution from the Harrier.ev.

Since the middle of 2025, Tata has reported monthly increases in electric sales. In November, the brand held a 42% market share, dominating the mass-market EV segment. In addition to Harrier.ev and Nexon.ev, Punch.ev and Tiago.ev also helped with sales.

There are two battery options available: 65 kWh and 75 kWh. The larger pack is claimed to have a range of 627 kilometres. The Harrier.ev can add up to 250 km of range in about 15 minutes and charge from 20 to 80 per cent in roughly 25 minutes with its 120 kW DC fast charger.

The SUV's 155-horsepower front and 234-horsepower rear motors combine to produce 504 Nm of peak torque in its AWD variant. With this variant, Tata claims a 0-100 km/h time of 6.3 seconds. In addition, the vehicle has several driving modes: Eco, City, Sport, and Boost for the AWD model and Eco, City, and Sport for the normal RWD model.

In addition to its performance, the Harrier.ev features a long list of amenities, including a wireless phone charger, air purifier, powered tailgate, cooled armrest storage, dual-zone climate control, and autonomous parking features such as park assist and summon mode, all of which are included in the cabin. Additionally, the car features vehicle-to-load and vehicle-to-vehicle charging.

For safety, the electric SUV includes all-wheel disc brakes, an electronic parking brake, seven airbags, rain-sensing wipers, hill hold, descent control, Level 2 ADAS, a 540-degree surround-view camera with a digital key system and a digital rear-view mirror.
