Ola Electric Slashes Roadster X+ 9.1 kWh Price by ₹60,000; First Flash Sale Tonight
In a massive move to dominate the Indian electric motorcycle segment, Ola Electric has announced a significant price reduction for its flagship Roadster X+ 9.1 kWh variant. The ex showroom price has been slashed by ₹60,000, bringing it down from ₹1,89,999 to an aggressive ₹1,29,999.
This price correction comes as Ola scales up the production of its indigenous 4680 Bharat Cell at the Gigafactory, allowing the company to pass on vertical integration benefits to consumers.
Limited Purchase Window: Today's Timing
Due to a 5x surge in demand and limited initial supply, Ola is moving away from open sales for this specific variant. Instead, the company is implementing a "Limited Purchase Window" model.

Why the Price Cut?
The primary driver for this ₹60,000 price drop is the localized manufacturing of battery cells. By producing the 4680 cells in house, Ola Electric has significantly reduced its Bill of Materials (BOM). This move positions the Roadster X+ 9.1 kWh as a direct competitor to high end petrol commuters and other premium electric two wheelers.
