Electric Vehicle Year-End Discounts: Save up to Rs 3 lakhs on Tata, Mahindra, MG cars
Electric Vehicle companies have rolled out end-of-year discounts and offers after experiencing sluggish sales due to the recent GST cut on petrol and diesel-powered vehicles.

While all variants of the Tata Curvv.ev receive cash discounts of up to ₹3 lakh, the base Creative 45 variant gets a slightly lower cash discount of ₹2.5 lakh. Additionally, all variants, including the base model, get a ₹30,000 exchange bonus, and loyalty plus corporate benefits add another ₹95,000.

Tata Motors is offering benefits of up to ₹1.75 lakh on its electric micro-SUV, the Punch.ev. The EV receives a ₹60,000 cash discount, a ₹50,000 exchange bonus, and additional loyalty and corporate benefits worth ₹65,000. The model is currently priced between ₹9.99 lakh and ₹14.44 lakh.

The smallest electric vehicle in Tata Motors’ fleet, the Tiago.ev, is currently available with total benefits of up to ₹1.65 lakh. This includes a ₹70,000 cash discount, with the remaining discount covered through exchange prices, loyalty program, corporate schemes, and other bonuses.

Once the most beloved EV, the Tata Nexon.ev is now available with total benefits of up to ₹1.5 lakh. The SUV comes with a modest ₹20,000 cash discount, but exchange bonuses, corporate schemes, and other offers increase the overall benefits to ₹1.5 lakh.

From Tata Motors’ latest launches, the Harrier.ev is already being offered with a ₹1 lakh loyalty bonus. However, there are no cash discounts or exchange benefits available for this SUV. The Harrier.ev is priced from ₹21.49 lakh to ₹29.48 lakh.
Discount on Mahindra electric vehicles
Despite being a relatively new model, the coupe-style electric SUV Mahindra XEV 9E is already available with benefits worth ₹1.4 lakh. In addition, buyers receive a ₹60,000 extended warranty, a ₹30,000 exchange bonus, ₹25,000 in corporate benefits, and free paint-protection film valued at ₹1.25 lakh. These offers apply to the top-end Pack Three 79 kWh variant, while the Pack Two 79 kWh variant is eligible for total benefits of up to ₹3.10 lakh.

In Mahindra’s discount lineup, the BE 6 is being offered with significant benefits across its variants. The top-end Pack Three variant receives total benefits of up to ₹2.5 lakh, including a ₹2 lakh cash discount and ₹50,000 in additional offers. The Pack Three Select, Pack Two 79 kWh, and Pack One Above variants each get benefits of ₹2 lakh, while the entry-level Pack One offers ₹1.5 lakh in total benefits.

The coupe-style SUV Mahindra XEV 9E is also being offered with good benefits. The Pack Three 79 kWh variant, which comes with top specifications, gets a ₹1.4 lakh discount, along with a ₹60,000 extended warranty, a ₹30,000 exchange bonus, ₹25,000 in corporate benefits, and free paint-protection film worth ₹1.25 lakh. Meanwhile, the Pack Two 79 kWh variant is eligible for total benefits of up to ₹3.10 lakh.

JSW MG Motor is also offering its electric fleet at considerably discounted prices under its ongoing ‘Mid-Night Carnival’ offers. The company is also offering up to ₹1 lakh off on the Comet EV and up to ₹1.35 lakh on the ZS EV.
The discounts came as a limited-time year-end offer to rejuvenate soften market of electric vehicles. Moreover, ICE vehicles are also being offered with benefits, but the discounts are significantly lower than electric vehicles.
