New data from Open Data Telangana provides a clear electric car sales report for the month, highlighting industry-wide trends and a significant surge in electric vehicle adoption.
Market leader Tata.ev cemented its dominance, but a fascinating battle for second place in the EV sales in Telangana is heating up.
In the race for EV market share in India, Tata.ev remains the undisputed champion. Fueled by the immense popularity of its top-selling electric cars like the Tata Nexon.ev and Punch.ev, the brand sold a staggering 7,562 units nationwide. This figure surpasses the combined sales of its next two closest competitors.
Securing the second-place spot, MG (Morris Garages)—known for the MG ZS EV and Comet EV—registered 4,959 units. Mahindra's electric division, led by the Mahindra XUV400, held third place with 4,202 units sold.
