Bolt.Earth and Simple Energy Partner to Expand Fast Charging Network for Electric Two Wheelers in India
In a significant move to strengthen India’s electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem, Bolt.Earth, the country’s leading EV charging infrastructure provider, has announced a strategic partnership with electric two wheeler manufacturer Simple Energy. This collaboration is set to provide Simple Energy riders with seamless access to Bolt.Earth’s extensive fast charging network, addressing one of the primary hurdles to EV adoption: charging accessibility.
Seamless Integration for Simple Energy Riders
The partnership ensures that all Simple Energy Gen 2 vehicles are now fully compatible with Bolt.Earth’s Blaze DC fast chargers. These chargers, which utilize the LEVDC standard, are available in 3kW and 6kW variants, offering efficient and rapid power delivery for urban commuters.
For existing owners of Gen 1 Simple Energy scooters, the companies have confirmed that compatibility will be enabled shortly through a scheduled software update, ensuring that the entire Simple Energy community benefits from the expanded infrastructure.
Expanding the Fast-Charging Footprint
Bolt.Earth currently operates a robust network of over 270 Blaze DC chargers across more than 100 cities in India. Through this partnership, Simple Energy riders can easily locate, book, and pay for charging sessions using the Bolt.Earth EV Charging App.
To further enhance the user experience, integration is currently underway for the Simple Connect App. Once finalized, this will allow riders to manage their charging needs directly through the vehicle's native application, creating a unified and hassle free digital interface.
Driving India’s Green Mobility Future
The collaboration highlights a shared vision of making electric mobility more practical for the masses. By combining Simple Energy’s high performance vehicle technology with Bolt.Earth’s widespread charging footprint, the two companies are tackling "range anxiety" head-on.
Commenting on the partnership, S. Raghav Bharadwaj, CEO & Founder of Bolt.Earth, stated, "Fast charging is critical to mainstream EV adoption. Partnering with Simple Energy allows us to extend our reliable and future ready charging benefits to a wider rider base, strengthening the overall ecosystem and giving riders confidence on every journey."
As India continues its transition toward sustainable transport, such inter industry collaborations are expected to set new benchmarks for accessibility and reliability in the two wheeler segment.
