Ather Energy Rolls Out Kannada Dashboard Update for Rizta Z on Karnataka Rajyotsava
In a significant move to enhance regional accessibility, Ather Energy, India’s leading electric two-wheeler manufacturer, has announced a Kannada language update for its Rizta Z electric scooter dashboard. The announcement, made on the occasion of Karnataka Rajyotsava, reinforces the company's connection to its home state.
Starting November 1st, 2025, Rizta Z owners will receive an over-the-air (OTA) update that allows them to switch their entire dashboard interface to Kannada. This update aims to provide a more intuitive and seamless user experience for Kannada-speaking customers.
Celebrating Regional Identity Through Technology
Ather's decision aligns with the growing trend of users preferring to interact with digital content in their native languages. This update is part of a broader multilingual strategy for the Rizta, which is set to support eight regional languages, including Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, and Telugu, in the coming months.

Rizta: A Family Scooter Milestone
The Ather Rizta, the brand's first family-focused scooter, has already seen remarkable success, crossing 1 lakh units in sales in June of this year. The scooter is available in two models, Rizta S and Rizta Z, with key features designed for practicality and safety:

Phased Rollout and Future Plans
The rollout of the Kannada language update will be conducted in a phased manner across the entire Rizta Z fleet. This update follows the successful introduction of Hindi, with the remaining six regional languages scheduled for release in the near future.
