Ather Energy Doubles Service Network to 500 Centers; Eyes 700 Experience Centers by FY26
Ather Energy, a frontrunner in India’s electric two wheeler sector, has announced a massive milestone in its after sales strategy. The company has officially expanded its service network to 500 authorized centers across India, effectively doubling its footprint within a single fiscal year.
This aggressive expansion from 277 to 500 centers in FY26 aligns with Ather’s rapidly growing retail presence and the increasing demand for its flagship performance scooters and the family oriented Ather Rizta.
Redefining the EV Service Experience
Ather isn't just growing in numbers; it is investing heavily in the quality of the ownership cycle. Key highlights of their service evolution include:
-
Gold Service Centers: These premium facilities feature modern customer lounges and advanced diagnostic equipment, aiming for a "transparent and reliable" repair process.
-
ExpressCare: Recognizing the need for speed, Ather has implemented 60 minute periodic maintenance at 82 centers, allowing riders to get routine checks done in under an hour.
-
Trained Technicians: With the jump into Tier-2 and emerging cities, Ather is focusing on localized support to ensure EV adoption remains seamless for first time buyers.
"Crossing 500 service centers is an important milestone as we scale our retail footprint," said Ravneet Singh Phokela, Chief Business Officer at Ather Energy. "Reliable after sales support is a core part of the overall ownership experience."
Retail and Infrastructure Synergy
The service network growth is part of a broader "omnichannel" scale up. As of December 31, 2025, Ather boasted 600 Experience Centers (RECs), with a clear roadmap to hit 700 centers by the end of FY26.
To complement the physical touchpoints, the Ather Grid continues to dominate as India’s largest two wheeler fast charging network. With over 4,357 fast charging points and neighborhood chargers globally, Ather is ensuring that "range anxiety" and "service anxiety" are becoming things of the past for Indian commuters.
