VinFast VF MPV 7 Launched in India at ₹24.49 Lakh; Disrupts EV Market with 75% Buyback Guarantee

Expanding its footprint in the Indian electric vehicle (EV) sector, Vietnamese automaker VinFast has officially launched the VF MPV 7 at an aggressive price of ₹24.49 Lakh (ex-showroom). Following the launch of the VF6 and VF7 SUVs, this new 7 seater electric MPV targets large families and the premium fleet segment, directly rivaling the BYD eMax 7 and the Kia Carens EV.

Performance and Range: The 500km Milestone

The VinFast VF MPV 7 is powered by a 60.13kWh battery pack paired with a front mounted electric motor. The setup delivers a robust 204hp and 280Nm of torque, allowing the MPV to sprint from 0-100 kmph in under 9 seconds.

For Indian buyers concerned about range anxiety, the VF MPV 7 offers an ARAI certified range of 517 km on a single charge. Efficiency is further bolstered by three driving modes Eco, Normal, and Sport and adjustable brake regeneration levels.

Charging Infrastructure and Speed

Equipped with DC fast charging capabilities, the VF MPV 7 can charge from 10% to 70% in just 30 minutes using an 80kW DC charger. To sweeten the deal, VinFast has announced that all owners will receive free charging at V-Green stations across India until March 31, 2029.

Inside, the VF MPV 7 follows a futuristic, button-free philosophy. The cabin is dominated by a 10.1-inch central touchscreen that integrates the infotainment system, instrument cluster, and climate controls.

The vehicle is backed by a 7 year/1,60,000 km warranty, while the battery carries a separate 10 year warranty, providing significant peace of mind for long term owners.
