VinFast Auto India, the Indian subsidiary of Vietnam-based electric vehicle (EV) original equipment manufacturer (OEM) VinFast, has achieved a milestone by establishing 24 operational dealerships across the country.

The development marks steady progress toward the company’s goal of setting up 35 dealerships nationwide by the end of calendar year 2025, aimed at offering a seamless customer experience for its newly launched electric vehicles — the VF 6 and VF 7.

The 24 new showrooms are located in major cities such as Bengaluru, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Surat, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Chennai, Visakhapatnam, Nagpur, Rajkot, Jaipur, Kochi, Vadodara, Agra, and Bhubaneswar, according to a report by PTI.

Commenting on the milestone, VinFast India CEO Tapan Ghosh said, “India’s enthusiasm for sustainable mobility motivates us to keep raising the bar. The rapid rollout of brand experience showrooms underscores VinFast’s long-term commitment to the Indian market. We are working closely with our dealer partners to make VinFast products and services accessible to customers across the country. Our goal is not just to sell EVs, but to deliver an inspiring, customer-centric journey anchored in sustainability and innovation,” PTI reported.

VinFast is currently developing a comprehensive ecosystem integrating retail, charging, and after-sales services, following the recent launch of its premium electric SUVs, the VF 6 and VF 7, in India. The company has partnered with Castrol India, myTVS, RoadGrid, and Global Assure to establish nationwide infrastructure for charging and post-purchase services.

VinFast’s modern manufacturing facility in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, is a key component of its expansion strategy in India. With an initial annual capacity of 50,000 vehicles, the 400-acre factory will assemble the VF 6 and VF 7 models and has the potential to scale up to 150,000 units. Once fully operational, the plant is expected to generate 3,000–3,500 direct jobs and several thousand more across the supply chain, positioning Tamil Nadu as a major EV manufacturing hub in South Asia.
