ThunderPlus announces women-centered EV charging station franchise program
On International Women's Day, ThunderPlus, an EV charging station developing company, has announced India's first women-focused EV fast charging franchise program. The program provides a structured support system and a roadmap for female entrepreneurs to enter the electric vehicle charging infrastructure industry.
The franchise costing ₹6 lakh includes a 30KW DC fast charger for four-wheelers, full installation, shed construction, and operational assistance. ThunderPlus offers a minimum company guarantee, free maintenance for three years, and a 50% buyback option following the original term. Franchisees just need to provide the required power and space.
According to the company, franchisees can make about ₹12 lakhs in income over three years, establishing a profitable business opportunity in the growing EV industry.
Tarini Pandey, an MBA graduate who preferred entrepreneurship over regular employment, was given the first franchise. Amrithaa Ponnam, CEO of INDCON, which collaborates with Telangana women's organizations, officially opened the charging station.
