Tata Motors to launch Nano EV: All you need to know
Tata Motor on Monday signals its intention to launch the electric version of its affordable mid-range car–Tata Nano. The vehicle is expected to launch at a price range of Rs 20 to 25 Lakhs, according to reports.
As per the reports, Tata intends to give a makeover to its old Nano by releasing a petrol + CNG version and a complete electric version of its car.
The Tata Nano EV is a compact car in terms of design measuring 3164 mm in length, 1750 mm in width, 2230 mm between the two axles, and 180 mm at the lowest point to the ground.
The automobile can easily accommodate four people because of its seating size. Tata Motors is expected to offer the Nano EV with an infotainment system, Bluetooth, six speakers, power steering, electric windows, an anti-lock braking system with electronic brake distribution (ABD), and a 7-inch touchscreen.
Along with the many other high-tech features complementing driving, the Tata Nano EV is also expected to have several safety measures. In terms of power and durability, the Tata Nano's electric model features a 17 kWh battery. On a full charge, this vehicle is believed to be capable of travelling 300 km.
According to reports, the next edition of the Tata Nano will be completely new, powerful, and distinct. Although the car's top speed is listed as 80 km/h, it can reach 100 km/h in less than ten seconds.
