Tata Motors releases estimated timeline for CURVV's EV
The
EV
version of the CURVV series from Tata Motors will be on sale first in Q1 FY24, with the ICE model following shortly after. The business wants to get the first-mover advantage in the Coupe SUV market as its main competition, CRETA EV, has no estimated debut date and Elevate EV, the only other verified rival, won't be available until 2026.Although the CURVV EV will cost more than its ICE equivalent, the price premium will be justified by its unique characteristics. Despite these differences, both editions will have the same layout, materials, and level of quality. Due to its substantially cheaper pricing than the EV variant, the ICE CURVV will provide a compelling value proposition.
As per the report, the vehicle production is about to start. The EV and ICE variants of CURVV will start to be produced soon.
The price differential between the two models should be comparable to that of the Nexon variants, with the Nexon EV Prime beginning at Rs. 16.49 lakh for the entry-level petrol MT and just under Rs. 8 lacks for the Nexon EV Prime (both prices, ex-showroom). This unveiling will undoubtedly generate a lot of buzz in the Indian car industry.
