Tata Motors releases Empowered +A, ADAS-equipped version of Nexon.ev: All you need to know

In a move to enhance safety, Tata Motors has rolled out an ADAS-equipped version of the Nexon.ev starting from an ex-showroom price of Rs 17.29 lakh. To provide customers more value, the new version will also incorporate features like ambient lighting and a sunscreen for the back window. In addition, the company’s latest model has been released in a Dark theme to provide a more aesthetic option to its customers. 

The new version will also come with lane departure warning (LDW), lane centring system (LCS), lane keep assist (LKA), traffic sign recognition (TSR), autonomous emergency braking (AEB), forward collision warning (FCW), and high beam assist (HBA).

The base model, Empowered +A 45, will cost at ₹17.29 Lakh. The next option, the Empowered +A 45 DARK, will cost ₹17.49 Lakh. In a similar range, the Empowered +A 45 Red DARK is priced as ₹17.49 lakh.

Moreover, the dark edition will have an all-black theme, from exterior paint to interior’s leatherette bolstered seats. The Nexon.ev Dark boasts a C75 real-world range of 350 to 370 km, faster charging speeds of 20% to 80% in 40 minutes, and an additional 150 km of range in 15 minutes. It also has features like a panoramic sunroof, vehicle-to-vehicle charging and vehicle-to-load technology, as well as a unique user interface and user experience for the 26.03 cm instrument cluster, rear window sunshade, ambient lighting, and a 31.24 cm Harman touchscreen infotainment system.

The new variant will be an upgrade of Nexon.ev 45, it will also feature a 45 kWh battery pack, thanks to which the vehicle can produce a torque output of 106 kW (142 hp) and a peak power of 215 Nm.
