Tata Motors, Indian Air Force conduct Shaurya Bharat EV rally to display courage and commitment

In a display of bravery and India’s commitment to cleaner energy, Tata Motors, in partnership with the Indian Air Force and the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI), powered the Shaurya Bharat EV Rally 2025, Machine Maker reported.

The rally featured more than 30 Tata Harrier EVs via its route from New Delhi to Adampur, Punjab via crossing Murthal and Ambala, according to the report.

Moreover, in showcasing its ability to support high-demand and multi-city EV movement, the 600+ km journey was supported by Tata Power’s EZ CHARGE network through its public charging stations.

The rally, which was organised in partnership with the Air Force Adventure Wing, served as a dynamic platform to showcase the potential of India's electric vehicle ecosystem and encourage the adoption of clean transportation options while simultaneously honouring the service of Indian defence personnel.

Tata Power has established one of the largest EV charging networks in India, with more than 5,400 public and captive EV charging stations, 1.35 lakh+ residential chargers, and 1,200+ bus charging stations spread across more than 600 cities. The network supports fleet operators, institutional deployments, private users, and commercial complexes by spanning roads, tourist destinations, shopping centres, and housing societies.

With electric buses alone, Tata Power's infrastructure has prevented more than 1 lakh tonnes of CO2 emissions and enabled over 2.36 billion electric kilometres worldwide. To further demonstrate its dedication to India's net-zero objectives, the firm plans to grow to over 7.5 lakh household chargers and 10,000 public stations by 2030.
