Tata Harrier EV spotted testing, reveals features before official launch
The Indian auto manufacturer Tata Motors’ upcoming electric SUV, the Harrier EV, was recently spotted testing without camouflage, revealing its production-ready design ahead of the official launch scheduled for June 3, 2025.
Tata Harrier EV’s Exterior
The majority of the Tata Harrier EV's external features and design are carried over from its ICE version. Although it has introduced some EV-specific features like a closed-off grille, chrome-trimmed air dam, silver body cladding, "EV" and "HARRIER.EV" badges on the front doors, and a new bumper design. The SUV also features vertical LED headlamps, blade-shaped daytime running lights (DRLs), a blacked-out D-pillar, floating roofline, and aerodynamically designed silver alloy wheels
Tata Harrier EV’s Interior
The interior components of the diesel-powered version are carried over into the Tata Harrier EV. The vehicle has a 10.25-inch digital driver display, a dual-tone dashboard, a four-spoke steering wheel, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, a panoramic sunroof, a dual-zone climate control system, ventilated front seats, JBL's 10-speaker sound system, and touch-based HVAC.
Tata Harrier EV’s Battery And Powertrain
The Tata Harrier EV's battery and powertrain specifications are yet unknown. However, an electric motor attached to the back axle gives it an AWD system. Additionally, it is anticipated to have a larger battery pack than the Curvv EV and to produce 500 Nm of torque.
