Tata Curvv EV teaser launched: All you need to know
Finally, after months of rumours, leaked photos, and presentations, the Tata Curvv is going to happen. The first official teaser for the forthcoming Curvv coupe SUV has been unveiled by the company. It is scheduled to go on sale as an EV first, then as an ICE.
Built from the ground up, the Tata Curvv EV is an all-electric car with a coupe body style. Its design characteristics include flush-fitting door handles, connected LED taillights, a sloping roofline, an aggressive-looking grille and bumper and a full-width light bar covering the face of the Curvv split LED headlights. Additionally, the configuration and design of the rear reflectors will be similar to the Nexon.
The Curvv EV will be equipped with a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system that can be used independently. It will also feature wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an all-digital instrument cluster, a twin-spoke steering wheel that features an illuminated Tata logo, touch-based HVAC controls, ventilated front seats, an auto-dimming IRVM, a 360-degree surround camera, and advanced driver assistance systems.
Furthermore, according to the latest spy photos, the Curvv EV is expected to be equipped with a dual-pane panoramic sunroof. Regarding the specs and battery pack, it is probable that the Curvv EV will utilise the Nexon EV's battery, which powers the front wheels with a single motor arrangement. The Curvv is the first large SUV to enter the race, and other vehicles such as the Hyundai Creta EV, Kia Carens EV, Honda Elevate EV, Mahindra XUV.e8, Maruti eVX, and Toyota Urban Sport will follow in due course.
