Tata Curvv EV officially launched: All the features you need to know
The much-awaited Tata Curvv EV electric SUV Coupe is finally released by Tata Motors on Wednesday. The newly introduced electric car will go on sale under the name of Tata Curvv.ev and its price will begin at Rs 17.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The car will come with five trim levels and two different battery pack options—55kWh and 45kW. The Tata Curvv EV's 55kWh battery pack model has a rated MIDC range of 585 km, while the 45kWh battery pack option has a range of 502 km.
According to Tata Motors, a suitable fastcharger can add 150 km to the Tata Curvv EV's range in just 15 minutes. Furthermore, a 70kW charger can charge the vehicle from 10% to 80% in just 40 minutes. Reportedly, the model also includes V2V and V2L functionalities. The Tata Curvv EV boasts a precise 50:50 weight distribution and a 60mm decreased centre of gravity to enhance its agility. Nevertheless, the vehicle has an extremely decent 190mm of ground clearance.
The 163bhp electric motor of the Tata Curvv provides performance, as it can propel the vehicle to 100 km/h in 8.6 seconds. In addition, the Curvv EV has a peak speed rating of 160 km/h.
The Tata Curvv EV is a practical SUV with amenities like 60:40 split rear seats, despite its coupe-like appearance. Additionally, the vehicle has a massive 500-litre bootspace. Among its other striking features are its 18-inch alloy wheels fitted with 215/55 tyres. Nevertheless, the Tata Curvv EV is incredibly technologically advanced, with features like a panoramic sunroof, air filter, powered tailgate, ambient lighting, digital driver's display, large infotainment unit, ventilated front seats, 6-way power adjustable driver seat, reclining rear seats and much more.
The new Tata Curvv EV comes in five different colour options: Virtual Sunrise, Pure Grey, Pristine White, Flame Red, and Empowered Oxide. Having stated that, only high-end models may have the Empowered Oxide shade.
