Tata announces debut of Curvv and Curvv EV: All you need to know

Tata Motors on July 19, announced the release of its production-ready version of Curv and Curv EV. The Tata Curvv is reportedly the first SUV-coupe offering in the mainstream market of the Indian EV industry which is scheduled to be launched on August 7th.


Citing inside information, CarWale reported that the initial booking price of the car might start from Rs. 21,000 The report also mentioned that the ICE version of the automobile will be released after the EV version. Tata will continue to launch all its future vehicles based on this EV-first approach.


The Curvv is expected to come with variants including 1.5-litre diesel, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol, and two battery pack choices with a maximum capacity of 56 kWh for powertrains. For the EV version, the vehicle is anticipated to deliver a range of up to 500 kms on a single charge.


The Tata Curvv twins of 2024 will have all-LED lighting, front and rear LED light bars, an electric sunroof, automated temperature control, ventilated front seats, an ADAS suite, and a completely digital instrument cluster, among other things.
