SWITCH Mobility Secures Major Order for 840 Electric Buses from Antony Road Transport Solutions Under PM E-Drive Scheme

SWITCH Mobility Ltd., a global manufacturer of electric buses and light commercial vehicles and part of the Hinduja Group, has bagged a landmark order for 840 AC Electric Buses from Antony Road Transport Solutions. The order has been finalized under Phase I of the Government of India’s PM E-Drive scheme, processed via the CESL tender.

The newly commissioned fleet will be deployed under the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) and the Transport Department, Delhi, to bolster efficient and sustainable public passenger transportation across the national capital.

Order Breakdown & Strategic Partnership

The multi-unit agreement bridges the combined capabilities of an original equipment manufacturer (OEM), a seasoned fleet operator, and public transport authorities:

• Total Volume: 840 AC Electric Buses
• Bus Specifications: An even split of 420 units of 9-metre and 420 units of 12-metre electric buses.
• Deployment Agency: Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) and Transport Department, Delhi.
• Operator: Antony Road Transport Solutions.
• Tender Framework: CESL PM E-Drive Scheme Phase I.
