The wait is finally over for scooter enthusiasts. Suzuki Motorcycle India has officially entered the electric vehicle (EV) segment with the launch of its debut model, the Suzuki e-Access.

As one of the most anticipated two-wheeler launches of the year, Suzuki has announced that bookings are now open at authorized dealerships across India. The move marks a major shift for the Japanese manufacturer as it transitions its popular "Access" brand legacy into the electric era.

Suzuki e-Access Price in India

Suzuki has positioned the e-Access as a premium offering in the EV market. The Suzuki e-Access price is set at ₹1,88,490 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

While the price point places it in the higher bracket of the electric scooter segment, Suzuki is betting on its brand reliability and advanced battery technology to justify the cost.

Range, Battery, and Performance

The biggest talking point of the new e-Access is its battery technology. Unlike many competitors using NMC batteries, the e-Access is powered by a 3.07 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery.

According to Suzuki, the LFP battery offers superior thermal stability and a longer lifespan—claimed to be up to four times that of conventional batteries.

Charging Time and Infrastructure

Suzuki has addressed range anxiety by offering flexible charging solutions. The scooter supports both standard home charging and DC fast charging.

• Standard Charging: 0 to 100% in approximately 6 hours and 42 minutes.

• DC Fast Charging: significantly reduces wait time to approximately 2 hours and 12 minutes.

To support this, Suzuki is currently upgrading its dealership network to be "EV-ready," ensuring charging infrastructure is available for customers.

Warranty and Colors

To build trust in their first electric product, Suzuki is offering a comprehensive warranty package. The e-Access comes with a warranty of up to 7 years or 80,000 km, providing significant peace of mind for early adopters.

The scooter is available in premium dual-tone color options, including Metallic Mat Stellar Blue and Metallic Mat Fibroin Gray, keeping the aesthetic sophisticated and modern.
