SRM Institute of Science and Technology join hands with Stellantis India to boost EV innovation
The Centre for Electrical Mobility of SRM Institute of Science and Technology has joined hands with automanufacturer Stellantis India to facilitate innovation, skill development, and accelerate the evolution of market-ready EV technologies. SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRM IST) has stated.
The CEM has received two Citroen e-C3 electric vehicles from Stellantis India as part of the initiative. These EVs will be live research platforms which will provide researchers and students a hands-on and immersive experience with performance optimisation, diagnostics, and system testing.
According to the statement, the opportunity to work on actual automobiles will enhance students' practical understanding and hasten the creation of EV engineers who are prepared for the workforce.
SRM Institute of Science and Technology Vice Chancellor C Muthamizhchelvan said, "Through strategic collaborations with industry leaders and focused investment in cutting-edge research infrastructure, we are shaping the next generation of engineers and thought leaders," Rediff Money reported.
