Skoda Peaq Unveiled: The Brand’s New Flagship 7-Seater Electric SUV
Skoda has officially taken the wraps off the Peaq, its new flagship all-electric SUV designed to redefine spaciousness and premium comfort in the EV segment. Positioned as the largest model in the brand's current lineup, the Peaq is built on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB+ platform and aims to challenge premium electric family SUVs like the Kia EV9 and Volvo EX90.
Design and Interior: A "Lounge on Wheels"
The Peaq showcases Skoda’s latest "Modern Solid" design language, featuring a clean, minimalist aesthetic highlighted by a gloss-black "Tech Deck" front face and signature T-shaped LED lighting.
Inside, the cabin is focused on passenger comfort and utility:
-
Seating & Space: Available in both five and seven seat configurations, the Peaq offers a massive cargo capacity of up to 935 litres with the third row folded.
-
Premium Features: The interior includes a 13.6-inch vertical touchscreen, a 16-speaker Sonos sound system, and an optional "Relax Package" that adds massage-function seats and power-adjustable leg rests.
-
Smart Tech: The vehicle debuts features like a digital key (using smartphones/smartwatches) and an augmented-reality head-up display for a more intuitive driving experience.

Is it Coming to India?
While the Skoda Peaq is a global flagship, industry speculation is already mounting regarding its potential entry into the Indian market. Its combination of seven-seat utility, 600+ km range, and premium tech-forward cabin addresses many of the core requirements for premium EV buyers in India, making it a strong candidate for future expansion.
