River releases its first Indie fleet from its Hoskote unit, deliveries expected from September

has released the first unit of its first product, the Indie electric scooter. In terms of the Indie, the business claims that a single charge would give it a range of 120 kilometres. It is powered by a 4kWh battery pack.Additionally, it has a peak speed of 90 kph and a sprint time of 3.9 seconds from 0 to 40 kph. This EV's motor is capable of producing a maximum torque of 26 Nm and 8.98 horsepower. Three riding modes are available on the electric scooter, which has been termed the "SUV of scooters": Eco, Ride, and Rush. Maximum range is achieved in Eco mode, balanced performance is achieved in Ride mode, and maximum acceleration is achieved in Rush mode.
The Indie is built tough. One of the primary features of this e-scooter is its storage capacity, which includes a 12-litre glovebox and up to 43 litres of room beneath the seat. Additionally, a USB charging connector for smartphones is included. Priced at Rs 1,24,999, ex-showroom, The River Indie was released. There are three shades to choose from: spring yellow, summer red, and monsoon blue.
The price of the Indie has been altered, according to the firm, and will shortly be disclosed as a result of updated rules for the FAME II subsidy. For its Bengaluru pre-order clients, River will still honour the Rs 1,25,000 ex-showroom pricing that was first offered.
