Quantum Energy & EMO Energy Launch ‘Bziness EMO’: A 20-Minute Charge Electric Scooter for Delivery Fleets

In a significant move to electrify India’s last mile logistics, Quantum Energy Limited has announced a strategic partnership with EMO Energy to launch the Quantum Bziness EMO. This new electric scooter is purpose built for the commercial sector, promising to solve critical downtime issues for gig workers and fleet operators with rapid charging capabilities.

The collaboration marries Quantum Energy’s vehicle engineering with EMO Energy’s patented battery technology, targeting the deployment of 10,000 units over the next 12 months.

20-Minute Fast Charging: A Game Changer for Fleets?

The headline feature of the Quantum Bziness EMO is its integration of EMO Energy’s 2 kWh ZenPac battery. Unlike standard packs, this battery utilizes liquid cooling technology, allowing it to charge from 0 to 100% in just 20 minutes using EMO’s Swft fast charger.

For delivery partners who often lose earning hours waiting for vehicles to charge, this rapid turnaround could significantly boost daily uptime and revenue. EMO Energy claims the battery has been tested over 150 million real world kilometers, showing minimal degradation (1.2% at 300 cycles), ensuring longevity for high usage commercial applications.

Quantum Bziness EMO: Key Specifications & Range

Designed to handle the rugged demands of Indian roads and heavy loads, the scooter comes with robust specifications:

  • Range: 80 km (Real world)

  • Top Speed: 50 kmph

  • Payload Capacity: 200 kg

  • Motor: 2500W Peak Hub Motor

  • Wheels: 12 inch wheels for better stability

  • Cooling: Active immersion cooling for thermal management

Manufacturing & Expansion Plans

To support this rollout, Quantum Energy has commenced operations at a new 6 acre manufacturing facility in Maheshwaram.

  • Phase 1: By March 2026, the facility aims to reach a production capacity of 10,000 units per month.

  • Phase 2: By mid 2027, capacity is expected to scale to 20,000 units per month.

Leadership Speak

Sheetanshu Tyagi, Co-founder and CEO of EMO Energy, emphasized the synergy between the two firms: "Scaling last mile mobility in India requires vehicles and energy systems to be designed together for high utilization. We’ve combined a purpose built scooter with an energy platform engineered for scalability and low total cost of ownership."

Chakravarthi C, Managing Director of Quantum Energy, added that the partnership strengthens the fast charging ecosystem, providing greater confidence to commercial fleet operators regarding vehicle uptime.

With a target to deploy 10,000 scooters in the coming year, the Quantum-EMO alliance is positioning itself as a strong contender in the B2B electric mobility space, directly challenging existing players by prioritizing charging speed and battery durability.
