Ola Electric guarantees 1-day resolution of service following increasing complaints
Ola Electric's founder Bhavish Aggarwal said on September 27 that the company is opening roughly 1000 "on-demand and AI-powered" service centres across India, with a one-day resolution guarantee for service concerns, a report by Money Control stated.
"Quick Service Guarantee, 1-day resolution of service issues! In case of a delay, we will provide a backup S1 scooter. In addition, Ola Care+ customers will get free Ola Cabs coupons until their service is resolved in a phased manner," stated Aggarwal on X (formerly Twitter).
The announcement comes just weeks after a 26-year-old man was arrested for reportedly lighting motorcycles on fire at an Ola Electric showroom after failing to settle difficulties with his two-wheeler despite several trips to the outlet.
The company also unveiled the EV Service Training Program, which aims to teach 1 lakh third-party mechanics through the 'Network Partner Program'.
Ola Electric will also use AI for preventative maintenance and remote diagnostics.
"These AI technologies will detect issues before they happen, allowing us to solve them proactively at the customer's doorstep. Ola Electric will roll out these AI functionalities to all Ola customers from October 10th, 2024," Aggarwal stated.
