Numeros Motors Launches 'n - First' EV 2-Wheeler in India; Starts at ₹64,999

The 'n - First' is a new hybrid EV targeting young urban commuters, blending the stability of a bike with the utility of a scooter, and offering up to a 109 km range.

Numeros Motors, a leading Indian electric mobility innovator, expanded its portfolio today with the launch of the n - First EV 2-wheeler in Bengaluru. This new electric vehicle is set to be a "game-changer" in urban mobility, starting at an aggressive introductory price of ₹64,999 for the first 1,000 customers.

The launch marks a significant step in the company's mission to "democratize clean, affordable, and stylish urban transport." The n - First, designed in collaboration with Italy's Wheelab, targets the growing segment of young urban commuters, particularly women.

A New Category for Urban Mobility

"This is not just another vehicle; it is a vision realised," said Mr. Shreyas Shibulal, Founder & CEO of Numeros Motors. "It’s a fresh, elegant statement in urban mobility."

The n - First's design challenges traditional categories. Its defining 16-inch wheels provide enhanced stability and control, typically seen on motorcycles, while its form factor offers the practical utility of a scooter.

"At Numeros, we believe reliable and durable electric mobility solutions need not be a luxury," Shreyas added, highlighting that the n - First is designed to be the "most reliable, accessible EV solution" for its target market.

n - First: Specs, Range, and Performance

The n - First is powered by a PMSM mid-drive motor with chain transmission for high energy efficiency. It is available in five variants and two colours (Traffic Red and Pure White).

Key specifications include :

• Range : The top-tier 3kWh i-Max+ variant delivers a certified IDC range of 109 km.

• Battery : Other 2.5kWh variants (Max and i-Max) use liquid immersion-cooled Li-ion batteries, offering a 91 km IDC range.

• Charging : A full 0-100% charge takes approximately 5–6 hours (2.5 kWh) or 7–8 hours (3.0 kWh).

• Updates : The vehicle supports over-the-air (OTA) updates for continuous performance optimization.

Smart, Safe, and Rigorously Tested

A key feature of the n - First is its smart connectivity. The EV's IoT platform and dedicated app provide users with a suite of safety features:

• Theft and tow detection alerts

• Remote locking

• Geo-fencing

• Live location tracking

• Advanced thermal management

• Data-backed ride insights

Numeros Motors emphasized the vehicle's durability. The n - First platform underwent rigorous testing across India, from the heat of Jaisalmer to the cold of Manali, ensuring its reliability in extreme conditions.

This launch comes just two months after Numeros Motors' previous EV, the Diplos Max+. Founded in 2020, the Bengaluru-based OEM has an annual production capacity of 70,000 units and is expanding its dealer network across South India.
