In a collaboration with Dolby Laboratories, Tata Motors has equipped Dolby Atmos in the company’s e-SUV, Harrier.ev.
Users can enjoy apps like Gaana and Audible in the Harrier.ev with the help of the Dolby Atmos audio experience, now available at the Arcade.ev app store. Powered by a 10-speaker JBL setup, the audio system of the car includes 6.5” speakers, a subwoofer, tweeters, a dashboard mid-range speaker and an 8-channel amplifier.

The integration distributes spatial audio across the cabin by utilizing fixed speaker locations and optimal seating configurations. Improving audio depth and clarity for podcasts, music, and other content is the aim.
Dolby Laboratories' Senior Director of Commercial Partnerships, Karan Grover, stated that the business is committed to collaborating with OEMs to enhance in-car entertainment. The partnership is consistent with Tata's strategy to enhance the consumer experience in its EV lineup, according to Anand Kulkarni, Chief Product Officer of Tata Passenger Electric Mobility.
