MG ZS EV now more affordable for Indian users

decreased the price of a few vehicles, including the Hector and the Hector Plus. This time, the British manufacturer's Indian subsidiary has disclosed a significant price drop for its electric SUV, the ZS EV. The starting price for the electric option has changed to Rs 22.88 lakh (ex-showroom) as of right now. Three models of the MG ZS EV are available: Excite, Exclusive, and the brand-new Exclusive Pro. MG increased its ZS EV lineup in July 2023 with the introduction of the Exclusive Pro model, which has a complete Level 2 ADAS suite.17 ADAS functions make up this package, including frontal collision warning, speed assist, adaptive cruise control, blind spot identification, lane departure warning, and traffic jam assistance. The Gloster, Hector, and Astor are the first three MG sports utility vehicles with ADAS; the Exclusive Pro variant is the fourth. However, the Exclusive Pro has seen a 2 lakh rupee price cut, while the Exclusive ZS EV model is now 2.30 lakh rupees cheaper. The pricing of the ZS EV Excite model has also been revised, indicating a reduction of Rs 50,000. Retail SUV costs range from Rs 22.88 lakh to Rs 26 lakh (ex-showroom).
The MG ZS EV has a large 50.3kWh lithium-ion battery mounted beneath its exterior, connected to an electric motor. The battery is said to have a maximum driving range of 461 kilometres, while the electric drivetrain is said to have 174 horsepower and 280 Nm of peak torque. According to MG, the battery has been designed to comply with IP69K for better dust and water resistance and complies with both the UL2580 Safety Management System and the ASIL-D Enhanced Safety Integrity Level standard.
The electric SUV is equipped with a segment-first 360-degree camera with rear parking sensors, a segment-leading 10.1-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system, an entirely digital instrument panel featuring a 7.0-inch inbuilt LCD screen, and more. The industry's first digital key, which enables you to lock, unlock, start, and even drive the vehicle without a physical key, is among the more than 75 connected vehicle capabilities available.
The vehicle has a hill-start assist, electronic stability control, hill descent control, dual, front, a tyre pressure monitoring system, side, and curtain airbags, among other safety features.
