MG Windsor records sales of 3000+ units for 4 consecutive months
Amid the rise in the Indian EV market, the MG Windsor has recorded sales of over 3,000 units for the consecutive month of January 2025.
In the Month of October, last year, the MG Windsor garnered sales of 3,116 units, while in November the sales reached 3,144 units. Meanwhile, in December 2024, the sales of Windsor EVs touched an all-time high of 3,785 units. Finally, in January 2025, JSW MG Motor India sold 3,277 Windsor EVs.
The MG Windsor
The MG Windsor is available in three variants: Excite, Exclusive, and Essence, priced at Rs 13,99,800, Rs 14,99,800, and Rs 15,99,800 (ex-showroom), respectively. It is also offered under JSW MG's Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, where the user can opt to buy the vehicle without a battery at a lower cost and then pay a rental fee of Rs 3.9/km for renting the battery. Under this model, the Excite variant costs Rs 9,99,800, the Exclusive Rs 10,99,800, and the Essence Rs 11,99,800.
The MG Windsor gets a permanent magnet synchronous motor paired with a 38kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, which is IP67-rated. The motor develops 136PS of maximum power and 200Nm of peak torque. The ARAI-certified range on a single full charge is 332km. The car has four driving modes -- Eco+, Eco, Normal and Sport.
The MG Windsor is equipped with an IP67-rated 38kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery and a permanent magnet synchronous motor. The motor can produce a maximum power of 136 PS and a maximum torque of 200 Nm. With a single full charge, the vehicle claims to travel an ARAI-certified range of 332 km. The vehicle features four different modes: Normal, Sport, Eco+, and Eco.
With over 80 linked features and over 36 basic safety features, the Windsor is JSW MG's third electric vehicle after the ZS and Comet. Additionally, for operations, the vehicle features a smart Bluetooth key as well.
