MG Motors complete 100 years: Launches special edition vehicles
Marking the brand's centennial, MG India has introduced four special edition vehicles. The latest edition of vehicles will be available for Hector, ZS EV, Comet, and Astor. These limited editions don't include Gloster, MG's most costly product in India.
With a stary black coloured roof and a dark finished design, the “100-year limited-edition” vehicles come with an “Evergreen” colour and a “100-year Edition” badge. The interior of the vehicles gets an all-black theme with a“100-year edition” sophisticated print on the headrests, underlining the rich racing legacy of the MG Motors. Users can also buy a colour-customized head unit with an “Evergreen” theme. Moreover, a green theme colour is also used for the infotainment units.
The changes to the special editions are purely cosmetic. MG Astor has two engine options: a 110hp, 1.5-litre petrol engine and a 140hp, 140hp turbo-petrol engine. The Astor is priced from Rs 9.98 lakh to Rs 17.90 lakh. The pricing range for the MG Hector, which has five, six, and seven seats, is Rs 13.99 lakh to Rs 22.76 lakh. Hector's 1.5-litre gasoline engine generates 143 horsepower, while his 2.0-litre diesel engine generates 170 horsepower.
With a 50.3 kWh battery, the ZS EV is said to have a 461 km range. This SUV ranges in price from Rs 18.98 to Rs 25.2 lakh. The 17.3kwh battery that powers the two-door, smaller MG Comet is expected to have a 230km range. The range of its costs is Rs 6.99 lakh to Rs 9.2 lakh.
