MG lowers its prices: Comet now more affordable than Tata Tiago EV

Accomplishing the impossible, MG has bowled over the market competition by lowering costs across its portfolio, while all other automakers have upped their pricing. In addition to the pricing revision, the business has introduced the new ZS EV Executive model, which is Rs 1 lakh less expensive than the ZS EV Excite.

The cost of the complete Comet EV range has been lowered by MG Motor. There is a deduction of Rs 99,000 price on the entry-level Pace trim, which begins at Rs 6.99 lakh. The last two variants, called Play and Push, are priced at Rs 7.88 lakh and Rs 8.58 lakh, respectively, and are discounted by Rs 1.4 lakh. Not only it is claiming to be the most affordable electric car in the nation, but it is also fully equipped with electric features and built from the bottom up. It produces 41.4 horsepower and 110 Nm and is run by a 17.3 kWh battery. MG claims that the Comet EV has a 230 km driving range on a single charge. The four-seater EV requires 7.7 hours to fully power and 5.5 hours to get from 0% to 80% with a 3.3kW charger. Meanwhile, the newly updated price is likely to compete with the Tata Tiago EV which is priced at Rs. 8.69 lakh ex-showroom. 

MG Motor price revised price of ZS EV

The ZS EV now begins at Rs 18.98 lakh, ex-showroom, after a Rs 3.9 lakh price reduction. The ZS EV Executive is a new entry-level trim that MG has released. Therefore, the EV's pricing range is Rs 18.98 lakh to Rs 25.09 lakh. A 50kWh battery with 174bhp and 280Nm powers the ZS EV. MG claims that the ZS EV has a 461 km range on a single charge.
