Matter Motor Works Wins ‘Best Patent Portfolio’ at CII Industrial IP Awards 2025

Matter Motor Works, the Ahmedabad-based electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer behind India’s first geared electric motorcycle, the AERA 5000+, has achieved a significant milestone in automotive innovation. The company has been awarded the Best Patent Portfolio (2020–2025) at the prestigious CII Industrial Intellectual Property Awards 2025.

In addition to the top honor, Matter was also recognized among the Top 30 IP-Driven Organisations in India, solidifying its reputation as a leader in homegrown R&D and engineering.

A Second Consecutive Win for Matter

This marks the second consecutive year Matter has been recognized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), following their 2024 win for their growing patent portfolio.
