Maruti is all set to launch 6 EVs including Alto by 2030

Maruti Suzuki has taken a brave step by declaring its ambitions to launch six electric vehicles by 2030 amid the emerging demand for

electric vehicles

in the market. In an exciting move, the firm will present its new line-up of electric vehicles at the Japan Mobility Show 2023, which is slated to start on October 26 in Tokyo.

Maruti Suzuki has built a solid reputation for offering fuel-efficient vehicles at reasonable rates. In keeping with this tradition, the business plans to electrify the Alto, one of its most cheap versions. The Alto EV is expected to have an amazing range of up to 200 km on a single charge, according to sources, however specifics regarding the engine are yet unknown. The Alto EV, which was created with an emphasis on intercity connection, heralds a new era in automotive innovation. Beyond the Alto, Maruti Suzuki has lofty plans to enter the electric car industry. The Suzuki eWX, an electric variation of the well-known Waggon R, and the Maruti Suzuki eVX, a cutting-edge electric vehicle, are among the models offered by the firm.

A car that stands out in terms of performance and elegance is the Maruti Suzuki eVX. It offers two battery pack choices, one with a capacity of 60 kWh and the other with a capacity of 48 kWh. The eVX claims a remarkable driving range of up to 500 km on a single charge using these batteries. The car's proportions, which measure 4300 mm in length, 1800 mm in width, and 1600 mm in height, are also significant since they provide for plenty of passenger room. A sizeable 2700 mm wheelbase further guarantees stability and comfort. In October 2024, the eVX will be available to interested parties.

The Suzuki eWX, on the other hand, although smaller in size, adds appeal to the electric car market. With dimensions of 3395 mm in length, 1475 mm in width, and 1620 mm in height, it provides small but fashionable packaging. The eWX adds flare to the

electric car

scene with its unusual C-shaped lighting units, body-coloured front bumper, sizable tyres, and appealing front appearance.

The Alto EV and its siblings, the Suzuki eWX and Maruti Suzuki eVX promise to usher in a new age of electric vehicles, combining affordability, luxury, and increased range as Maruti Suzuki sets off on this exhilarating adventure. These options, which cater to a wide variety of preferences, are set to have a substantial influence on the market for electric vehicles.
