Lohia Auto presents all-new EV brand–“Youdha”, plans to manufacture 3 lakh EVs

As a part of its Rs 20Cr expansion plan, Lohia Auto on Monday announced to release of its EV brand "Youdha". The company has also announced its aim to make and sell 3 lakh electric vehicles by 2027. Initially, Youdha's portfolio included cargo and passenger segments of electric three-wheelers, citing the company, The Economics Times reported.

The update is in line with the company's ambition to cater for the requirements of the electric three-wheeler industry, Lohia Auto stated 

Ayush Lohia, CEO of Youdha stated, "With 'Youdha', we are not just creating electric three-wheelers; we are empowering India's real warriors. Our mission is to honour those who work tirelessly for their families, achieve their dreams, and move forward with unwavering determination," The Economist Times reported.

According to the business, the E5 cargo model provides a dependable and sustainable logistics solution, while the E5 passenger three-wheeler is made for urban and semi-urban transportation, emphasising efficiency and spaciousness.

The base model of the e-three-wheeler in the passenger segment will come with a 10 kW battery, 160km range and will cost Rs 3.80 Lakh.
