Le Roi Hotels and Tata Power collaborate to build 16 EV charging stations
On Monday, Tata Power announced that it will construct EV charging infrastructure at several Le Roi Hotels & Resorts properties in India.
Tata Power said in a statement that it has “in an alliance to encourage green mobility and enhance the sustainability of tourist destinations, partnered with Le Roi Hotels and Resorts to install EV charging stations across their hotels at different places throughout the country.”
16 chargers will be installed by Tata Power at 8 different sites. Eight fast DC chargers and eight AC (Type II) chargers will be distributed evenly, providing electric car drivers with a wide variety of charging options. Udaipur, Digha, Haridwar, Jammu, Tehri, Raipur, Corbett, and Koti are among the places mentioned.
According to Virendra Goyal, Tata Power's Head of Business Development (EV Charging), “We want to make it as easy and convenient as possible for everyone to fully embrace electric mobility, including locals and visitors,”
