Komaki launches India’s longest range electric scooter: Travel 322km in single charge
Komaki Electric has launched its all-new electric scooter, XR7, with a claimed range of up to 322km in a single charge.
Equipped with an advanced LiPo4 battery, the vehicle comes at an ex-showroom price of Rs 89,999. Moreover, made for everyday commute, the vehicle’s battery lifespan is about 3,000 to 5,000 charge cycles, as per the company.
The vehicle also equips features to provide safety in case of fire and overheating.
The XR7 has been designed with retro-inspired looks that remind you of classic petrol scooters, but with a modern electric twist.
In design terms, the XR7 seems to be taking inspiration from the retro theme of classic petrol scooters.
The scooter has disc brakes, a wireless controller, and a 3000-watt BLDC hub motor. It also features wireless capabilities, automatic updates, and numerous sensors that keep track of performance and speed.
Gunjan Malhotra, Co-founder of Komaki Electric Vehicles, marking the launch of the vehicle, shared the company’s vision of scaling the offering to redefine the everyday commute by the launch of the “longest-range EV scooter”.
Malhotra said that the design of the vehicle is a confluence of innovation and classical aesthetics that comes with styles, eco-friendly rides and superior performance.
