Kinetic Green unveils E-Luna: All you need to know
The much-discussed Kinetic Luna has made its debut in India, priced at Rs 69,990 ex-showroom. The vehicle has been in the discussion of the EV industry since its booking that began on January 26. According to Kinetic, 40,000 bookings have been made so far.
With contemporary features like a circular headlamp housed in rectangular frame, minimal bodywork, a boxy form, and a pleasant riding posture, the Luna maintains its original utilitarian style. The E-Luna's split seat design enhances its utility and may be removed as needed.
Encapsulating the latest technology, the E-Luna features 16-inch spoke wheels with tubed tyres equipped with Telescopic front forks, twin shocks at the back, drum brakes on both ends, a digital instrument cluster, a side stand sensor, and a USB charging outlet.
The E-Luna is powered by a 2kWh battery pack with a 100km stated range which can be charged in four hours. Thanks to this power-packed battery, the e-scooter is capable of achieving a maximum speed of 50 kmph. Moreover, when compared to contemporary electric scooters, the figures might seem excessive, but the E-Luna is in a different market niche which the company claims to be a one-of-a-kind product that does not have a competitor.
The Luna is among the lightest two-wheelers available for purchase in India right now, weighing only 96 kilogrammes. Furthermore, given that the electric motor produces 22 Nm of torque right out of the box, the E-Luna may wind up being a very effective workhorse for both commercial and commuter use.
