Kia Syros EV spy pictures leaked: All you need to know

Following the successful launch of the Kia Syros in February 2025, the company is gearing up to launch its electric variant in India. The company has yet to announce the price of the new Kia Syros EV; however, recent spy images released by Rushlane have revealed the vehicle's design.

The test version of the vehicle, spotted at a DC fast charging station in Kochi, also features a boxy design and elevated stance, which seems similar to its ICE counterpart.

According to The Daily Jagran, the car features turn indicators situated on the outside rearview mirrors, roof rails, LED headlamps aligned vertically and a panoramic sunroof. Additionally, it appears that the taillamp design is a holdover from the ICE model. The new Syros EV will get a charging port, a closed-off grille, and EV-specific badging, just like other electric cars.

Although the company has yet to provide any information about the interior of the vehicle, it is expected to come with the same cabin aesthetics as the ICE predecessor, which has reclining second-row seats, 12.3-inch displays, an 8-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, wireless connectivity, and Level 2 ADAS, The Daily Jagran report added.

Technical details are likewise unknown; however, it is expected that the powertrain will consist of a 42kWh or 51.4kWh battery and an electric motor located on the front axle.

Since the vehicle will be the most affordable offering by the company, it may emerge as a disruptive force in the mid-size EV market, which is presently dominated by the Tata Nexon EV.
