JSW MG Motor to launch Windsor EV limited edition, teases audience ahead of launch

Amid the festive season, JSW MG Motor India has teased its audience with a new Limited Edition version of its most beloved Windsor EV, with the name "Inspire". Scheduled to be launched anytime soon, the company released a teaser with a picture which does not reveal any details. 

Earlier this year, the company released the “Pro” variant of the WIndor EV. This time, the brand is upgrading its aesthetic and features. The design of the electric car will have an improved rear end of the vehicle, front fascia, and alloy wheels. Given that the teaser image depicts the Windsor EV in a hangar, the visual alterations will likely be inspired by aviation. We are unable to verify it at this time, though.

Moreover, the interior of the car is expected to get an aesthetic upgrade to match the exterior. The EV is anticipated to have new upholstery in addition to the dashboard, seat, and other interior trim pieces. The cost of the standard level may increase as a result of all these modifications. It is anticipated that the EV's features will remain mostly unchanged in the new variant.

It is expected that the Windsor EV Inspired Limited Edition will continue to use the same mechanics as the Pro model, which is powered by a 52.9 kWh battery pack. The claimed range of this battery is 449 km on a single charge, which is more than the conventional 38 kWh battery pack's 332 km range. The electric motor of the vehicle will produce 136 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque.
