India's most love receiving EV Tata's Nexon sells over 50,000 unit

Tata Motors

just introduced the electric variant of their Nexon SUV in 2020. Since its introduction, the Nexon EV has increased in popularity and improved in terms of appearance, battery life, and all-around appeal to become the most popular electric vehicle sold in the nation.

The Nexon EV has sold 50,000 units in only three years, making it the most popular electric vehicle in the nation. The Nexon EV and its various variations account for 15% of all Nexon sales in the nation. Currently, there are several #Dark edition varieties of the Nexon EV for sale, including the EV Prime, EV Max, and others.  Nexon EV Prime prices range from Rs 14.49 lakh for the base model to Rs 18.79 lakh for the EV Max.

One of the recent benchmarks set by the electric SUV is the 50,000-unit sales milestone. Previously, a Nexon EV Max made history by doing the 'Fastest' EV journey from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. It successfully demonstrated its capacity to do multi-city excursions by completing the 4003 km travel in just 95 hours and 46 minutes (under 4 days). The EV Max has a greater stated range of 453 km (ARAI-certified), however, during the record attempt, it only achieved about 300 km in actual driving.

Vivek Srivatsa, Head of Marketing, Sales, and Service Strategy at Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., commented on the development: "The Nexon EV customers have increased to 50,000 in just 3 years. This demonstrates how India has accepted electric vehicles as the modern form of mobility. We want to express our gratitude to the early adopters who saw the potential of the Nexon EV and, as a result, facilitated the growth and development of the current EV ecosystem.

“We hope that more people discover the benefits of an EV and switch to electricity.”

Tata Motors has enhanced the attractiveness of the Nexon EV Max by incorporating the newest touchscreen infotainment system from Harman, which made its debut in the premium Harrier and Safari SUVs. The top-tier EV Max XZ+ LUX model receives enhancements like a new HD display and a reverse parking camera. Additionally, the #Dark edition is available.
