Indian Performance EV Maker Ultraviolette Launches F77 Motorcycles in Spain and Portugal

Ultraviolette Automotive, the Bengaluru-based innovator in high-performance electric mobility, has officially launched its flagship F77 electric motorcycles in the Iberian Peninsula, adding Spain and Portugal to its rapidly growing European network. This strategic expansion increases the company's retail presence to a total of twelve European nations, underscoring its pivotal role in the global shift toward performance electric vehicles.

The launch introduces the critically acclaimed F77 MACH 2 and F77 SuperStreet models to the Iberian markets. The F77 series is positioned to redefine electric performance, boasting acceleration from 0 to 60 kph in a blistering 2.8 seconds, a 10.3 kWh battery pack, and delivering a peak output of 30 kW and 100 Nm of torque, enabling a top speed of 155 km/h. The motorcycles are equipped with proprietary features like the Violette A.I. system and industry-leading safety aids, including switchable Dual-Channel ABS (Bosch), 10 levels of Regenerative Braking, and Dynamic Stability Control.

The response from our first customers across France, Germany, the Netherlands, and other European markets has been absolutely phenomenal, commented Narayan Subramaniam, CEO & Co-founder of Ultraviolette. Building on that momentum, we are thrilled to announce the launch of the Ultraviolette F77 performance electric motorcycles in Spain and Portugal—both markets that have deep-rooted motorcycling culture and are rapidly evolving into hubs for sustainable innovation and EV adoption. This expansion... is a powerful validation of global resonance with Ultraviolette’s motorcycles and technology.

Partnership with Rhino Electric Motors

Ultraviolette’s entry into the Iberian markets is being facilitated by its exclusive importer and distributor, Rhino Electric Motors.

Rhino Electric Motors, a pioneer in two-wheeled electric mobility in Southern Europe, is set to leverage its robust distribution network across the Iberian Peninsula to bring the F77 to consumers. As the parent company of the Spanish manufacturer Velca, Rhino Electric Motors offers a complete portfolio of mobility solutions, positioning it as a key partner for Ultraviolette’s premium performance segment.

Jorge Bialade, Spokesperson for Rhino Electric Motors, emphasized the significance of the partnership : Ultraviolette is a game-changer for the Iberian electric motorcycle market. It brings together technology, design, and emotion, thus proving that sustainable mobility can also be thrilling.”
