Honda will launch Activa E today: Here is what to expect
The wait for the electric version of Activa is finally over as the Japanese manufacturer plans to unveil the new scooter today.
The Honda Activa E will come with two swappable batteries as the new ride launches under the title “swap easy, ride easy”. Making the ride fit to get charged anywhere, the removable batteries are expected to resolve the issues of establishing charging stations in parking areas. Providing convenience in charging, users can replace their discharged battery with a charged one at swappable battery stations in seconds.
In addition, the top-spec model will get a TFT display. It has Bluetooth connectivity and a clean, clear appearance. The vehicle is expected to have navigation and music controls as well. However, the lower model scooter will have a basic LCD.
There will be two ride modes available for the EV: Sport and Standard. The latter will maximise range and have a slower throttle response, whilst the Sport mode will accelerate more quickly and maybe reach a greater top speed. Range, however, will suffer.
