Hero enters the European and UK markets with its all-new electric scooter Vida Z

Entering the international market foray by the second half of 2025, Hero MotoCorp, India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer has unveiled its plan to launch its Vida brand in the UK and Europe with the launch of its new EV Vida Z.

“We will very soon launch operations in the UK and across Europe, led by our electric vehicle brand Vida. This expansion will also feature an impressive range of motorcycles designed specially with European riders in mind,” Pawan Munjal, executive chairman of Hero MotoCorp stated while launching the all-new Vida Z.

The Vida Z will be Hero MotoCorp's first EV available in the UK and Europe. "Vida Z is a product for the global audience, resonating from Barcelona to Bogota with its rich features and styling," said Swadesh Srivastava, Chief Business Officer for Emerging Mobility at Hero MotoCorp. The Vida Z will be followed by Hero's premium models, including the Xtreme 250R, Karizma XMR 250, and Xpulse 210.

The automaker has established a technology centre in Germany (TCG). It has also hired distributors in Italy (Pelpi International S.r.l.) and signed business agreements with partners in Spain (Noria Motos SLU), France (GD France), and the United Kingdom (MotoGB UK).

Hero MotoCorp exclusively sells the Vida V1, which has an ex-showroom price of roughly Rs 1 lakh. The V1 is currently available in 100 cities and 150 dealerships across the country.

The business previously stated that it wants to launch four electric models in India by the end of this fiscal year to capture a greater share of the electric two-wheeler industry.
