GEV Enters Bengaluru Market: Launches Flagship Dealership and India’s First 7+1 Electric Auto
In a major boost to Karnataka’s last-mile mobility sector, Gayatri Electric Vehicles (GEV) has officially inaugurated its flagship dealership in Bengaluru. Located on the prominent Hosur Main Road in Singasandra, the new facility is launched in partnership with Hanoo Mobility Pvt. Ltd.
The launch marks a significant milestone for the electric three-wheeler segment in South India, introducing high-capacity passenger EVs designed to replace conventional fuel vehicles.
Dabang MaxX: Redefining Public Transport in Bengaluru
The highlight of the launch is the Dabang MaxX, touted as India’s first iCAT-approved 7+1 electric auto. Unlike standard three-seaters, this high-capacity vehicle is engineered to maximize revenue for fleet operators while reducing congestion.
The dealership is now offering test drives for the Dabang MaxX, along with GEV’s L3 series electric rickshaws.

Strategic Partnership with Hanoo Mobility
The new showroom was inaugurated by Mr. Arjun Madra, CEO of GEV. The partnership with Hanoo Mobility aims to provide an end-to-end ecosystem for EV buyers, including sales, on-site financing, and prompt after-sales service.
Speaking at the launch, Mr. Arjun Madra stated :
"Bengaluru is a hub for smart mobility with excellent EV infrastructure... With our passenger and cargo series, we aim to empower drivers, fleet owners, and businesses with reliable, eco-friendly solutions that significantly reduce operating costs."
Why This Matters for Bengaluru’s EV Market
Bengaluru is one of India's most progressive EV markets. The introduction of the Dabang MaxX addresses a critical gap in the "shared mobility" sector. By offering a 150km range and fast-charging capabilities, GEV is targeting the heavy-duty demands of suburban routes and bustling city roads, positioning itself as a strong competitor to CNG and diesel alternatives.
