Exclusive: Ather’s leak document exposes details of firm’s upcoming product 450X HR
A homologation paperwork for the future electric scooter from Ather was just made public via an internet leak. Ather Energy has created a new iteration of the Ather 450X electric scooter, according to this leaked document.
Examining the specifications, we can see that this future electric scooter is called "Ather 450X HR" in the homologation paperwork. The Ather 450X HR's "HR" suffix is thought to stand for "High Range."
Additionally, the homologation paperwork discloses that a large 3.66kWh battery pack would be included with the next Ather 450X HR electric scooter. The future Ather 450X HR electric scooter has a range of 158 kilometres (as verified by AIS 040) because of its big battery pack.
It's also important to note that the power output specifications of the future Ather450XHR electric scooter were made public by the homologation paperwork. This document states that the AMD 450XHP produces 8.58 bhp in warp mode. In addition, there are other riding modes, such as Eco, Smart Eco, riding, and Sport. The least powerful riding option among these is Eco, which only generates 2.54 horsepower.
However, it is anticipated that the highest speed of the new Ather 450X HR electric scooter will be 90 km/h, the same as the top speed of the Ather 450X electric scooter that is already in production. In contrast, the previously approved Ather 450S HR electric scooter has a peak speed of 80 km/h. The Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor used in the Ather 450X, 450X, and 450X Gen3 electric scooters is also included in the future Ather 450X HR electric scooter.
Additionally, the new Ather 450X HR electric scooter's leaked homologation paperwork shows that it has a wheelbase of 1,296mm and dimensions of 1,837mm long, 739mm wide, and 1,114mm tall. Additionally, the model has a gross vehicle weight of 243 kg.
